Three days long All India Lepcha Seminar kick started

The
three days long All India Lepcha Seminar got kick started today at the Lepcha
hostel in Kalimpong. The president of the Lepcha Youth Organisation Dorjee T
Lepcha informing the reporters said that the seminar aims at educating the Lepchas
of the country about the Lepcha Development Council which has been accepted by
the State government and is in the Verge of implementation. The day marked the
presence of the president of the Indigenous Lepcha Tribal Association LS
Tamsang, secretary PT Shimik, the coordinator of the Lepcha Rights Movement Bhupendra
Lepcha and others. The youths from Kolkata, Delhi, Darjeeling, Kurseong, and
Kalimpong along with several other States were present he added.
