Programme organized to encourage kids

A
programme to encourage the kids was today jointly organized by the editor of
the Bal Darpan and Abhibhaw Channel at the Kalimpong Library Hall. The programme
had the dance, song and the painting competition. In the painting competition
Diya Lama stood first, Sumi Chettri in the second, Shena Grace Lepcha and Angelic
Tamang stood third. In the singing competition, Sathan Chettri was placed
first, Suraj Pal at the second and Anita Sundas was placed third. Similarly in
the dance competition Pauline Chettri clinched the title. Lalit Golay was
present as the Chief Guest of the day along with Arun Kumar Rasaily, Tila Joshi
as the Guest of Honour. The Bal Darpan also felicitated Bhawana Rai who fetched
92% in the Inter Mediate Science.Tags: LOCAL
