Public still demands TMC to contest the elections, claims Subba
MUKESH SHARMA
Kalimpong,
July 23:
The
former member of the United Gorkha Revolution Front (UGRF), Suk Bahadur Subba
who recently joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC) said that they have been asked
by the high command to back out from the forthcoming elections. It may be noted
that Subba was the TMC candidate from the 37 No. Algarah- Dalapchand
Constituency. Further, he said that though they have accepted the high
command’s decision, still the public are demanding them to contest the
elections. “The public knows that the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) has betrayed
them by giving the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) instead of
Gorkhaland,” he alleged.
