Krishak Kalyan Sangathan Kalimpong organizes Leadership Development Programme

The
Krishak Kalyan Sangathan Kalimpong today organized Leadership Development
Programme in association with NABARD at Sangathan hall in Kalimpong.
Six
different farmers clubs viz Dhaley Goan, Philing Ghari, Dalep, Upper
Singlebong, Lower Tamang Goan and Middle Suruk were inaugurated on the day.
Praful Rao, the former Wing Commander of the army stressed on leadership quality
as the resource person. Adding more he stated that people from rural places
visits the Governmental offices and does not bother to ask the officers as why,
when their works are not done, which shows lack of leadership qualities. The
leaders should remain under discipline he said and added that whatever works
one does have to be the best. The NABARD DDM Walter Kujur and the Managers
present from different banks informed on the schemes and facilities being given
by the banks to the farmers. The Sangathan’s General Secretary Bishnu Chettri
was also present on the day.
