The Trinamool Congress leader Chewang Bhutia today elevated up his dissatisfaction on how the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) who has been always demanding separate state Gorkhaland can battle the panchayat election coming together with the Trinamool.
Bhutia questioned that why the GJM did not raised any bitterness against the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who recently said that the state won’t tolerate the plaintiff Gorkhaland agitation.
‘The GJM always advocates their love and truthfulness for Gorkhaland but why not this time” questioned Bhutia.
Alleging the GJM spokesperson Dr Harka Bahadur Chettri, who talks about the Darjeeling-Sikkim merger, the demand of statehood after the formation of Telengana, Bhutia said that the statement are nonsense just to cloud the people.
The matter of fact is that the GJM till date has sat folded-hands.
 Commenting on the role played by the state government in the Madan Tamang murder case, he said that both the state and the GJM have inside stories to fool the people said Bhutia.
On the other hand the demand for the tribal status and the legislation to the GTA now seems a comic story he added. Bhutia asked the Morcha as why they did not asked the tribal status before signing the GTA accord and why they vandalized the GNLF workers when they stuck posters demanding the same.
He has also alleged the GJM of misusing corers of funds under the PMGSY and rural infrastructure development. He demanded the concerned authority to scrutiny the matter seriously; else the door of the higher authority will be knocked soon.
