Rescue operation unsuccessful

The rescue operation of the Maxx vehicle (WB 73 A 9439) which met an accident on Wednesday night near Ravijhora was done today but it remained unsuccessful.
The Teesta police along with the rafting team carried out the rescue operation. Driver Pemba Sherpa is also believed to be washed away by the river.
