Susan Thapa has been selected to represent Indian Karate team in the forthcoming 2nd International Open Karate Championship to be held at Dubai, from 31st January to 2nd of February, 2013.

The general secretary of the All India Karate Do Association in his letter to Thapa informed about the same. He has been advised to submit the necessary formalities to fly Dubai. The letter also mentions that all the expenditures towards the participation in said championship including air travel, local transportation, visa fees, service charges, lodging and boarding, entry fees, insurance etc will be stand by the federation.

Thapa has also been asked to join the advance training camp to be conducted by the federation before the championship.
