Janmukti Karmachari Sangathan (JKS) had submitted a memorandum to the incharge of the Uttar Bangal Krishi Viswavidyalaya (UBKV) last month highlighting the problems faced by its staffs, and demanding to a solve the issues soon. Today, a team of JKS sub division along with President Khadka Bikram Subba met with the incharge Vinay Raj to inquire about the issues and demands highlighted in the submitted memorandum. The JKS in the memo had demanded proper inquiry on the pension of the retired UBKV staffs, die harness case, regularization of the workers and the other issues. However the JKS team was dissatisfied with the explanation given by the incharge. Thus they have decided to hold a meeting of the sub division committee of JKS during which the issues will be discussed. Subba alleged the university of exploiting and harassing its staffs.
