Trauma Care Ambulance for kalimpong on eve of Diwali

On the eve of Dhanteras kalimpong today receive a
Trauma Care Ambulance a first of its kind in Darjeeling District. The Ambulance
of Kalimpong Red Cross Society was inaugurated in a program at town hall premises
by Educationist P.R.Pradhan, The ambulance is highly sophisticated with modern
technology.It is fully equipped with oxygen delivery system and can carry two
big size cylinder. A modern scoop stretcher and a wheel chair, saline hooks .
It has a provision to hold a ventilator . Full AC Facilities with inverter and
everything which a patient need during the critical time of transit from site
to hospital. The ambulance has been purchased
from Poona with the help of MPLAD Fund of Darjeeling MP Jaswant Singh and with
the effort of Brigadier Gurung Vice president of Society. Sec of the society
O.B.Das told today that their was no provision for life saving of a patient
during a accident or any incident when he or she was rushed out from site to hospital
but this trauma care ambulance is ultimate in emergency medicare for a patient.
In emergency patient can be operated in ambulance as it can carry up to 6
