labour was also done through miking today in and around the town area.
During this Sister Subeshna from the trust along with other members were present. Sister Subeshna asserted that awareness about child labour is a must within the public and they need to know that child labour is a crime. Saying that the children have the right to play, to get educated etc. she added that by forcing a child into labour is depriving the child of its childhood rights. Not only those who force child labour but even the parents who send their children for labour are equally responsible in committing this crime, she informed. The main aim of the Trust is to make Kalimpong free from child labour.
