Two held with banned Drugs at NH 31 A

Sanjay Sherpa, 35 of Mangal Dara, happy villa and Tenzing Bhutia, 32 of
10th mile Kalimpong were held with drugs after police caught them with 35 bottles of cough syrup, 24 strips
of Proxygen plus and two and a half strips of Nitrosun 10 (N-10) on the
way to Kalimpong from Siliguri at Rambi NH 31A .
According to the police source when the police were in van duty they came across a Scooty with WB number and stopped and checked it where they found this contraband substances..
Both were riding back from siliguri to Kalimpong. Both has been booked under section 18 (b) and 27 (c) of W.B drugs and cosmetic act and were produced before Kalimpong court where both has been sent to judicial custody.
