Just within two days of CM Banerjee departure from Kalimpong A Local Morcha Leader has been arrested by Kalimpong Police .

Dil Bir Bhujel 58 president of Samthar GJMM wing has been arrested today from Rishi Road area this afternoon .Kalimpong Police today produced him in Kalimpong ACJM court today. A warrant was pending in the name of Bhujel in a political case of 2009 where a house of former GNLF Councillor Tshering Sherpa was burnt and vandalized.He has been charged with under section 147/148/149/427/436 IPC and Sec 3 of SC/ST Act.Many section being non bailable the court has sent him to  14 days of judicial remand.This is the First political case arrest from Police..

Few days ago Sandip Chettri , Morcha's central committee leader was too arrested from Dooars region.

Morcha Secretary Roshan Giri today when asked about the comment told that the State is creating a pressure tactic upon Morcha which is not good. We raised the issue of withdrawing cases but again instead of withdrawing arrest has been started'
