Miscreant have tried to set ablaze Darjeeling Krishi Vigyan Kendra during puja holidays.The incident happen on 1st Oct when some one set ablaze the one chair and the curtain of the conference hall of KVK Located at seed farm. The incident was known on the 2nd when the guard in seeing the room inform the coordinator of KVK M.W Moktan. KVK have filed a written complain against the incident . The Center was closed in Puja and after Puja Holiday it was which opened today. A team of Kalimpong police today went to center to investigate the matter . The miscreant is supposed to have open the lock of window through the ventilation and lit the chair and then curtains . Moktan today said that luckily not much damaged has been done but condemning the incident he told that KVK is a property of entire hilly region. He said that some interview took place just a few days before incident may be some from that group who have appeared but not succeeded in the interview may have done to take out his frustration.
