Kalimpong, November 24, 2014:

Concerning the situation of the disabled ones, today the student morcha along with the college union donated a pick-up van full of winter clothing’s, shoes, and some blankets to Parvati Apanga Kalyan Sangathan (P.A.K.S) in Kalimpong College.

It was known that the students from BBA department generously donated their cloths than the students from other departments.

Few representatives of student morcha were present to assist the Union of Kalimpong College where Sameer Sundas, the secretary of student morcha said that the disabled ones are the people who require more practical help. Adding to that he said, ‘this winter is colder than the previous one and their physical inability makes us think they require warmer cloths.’
However the students also said that the disabled organization (P.A.K.S) may have some students and providing something to them in winter might be of a greater value. Peter Biswakarma and M.B Bhujel from Parvati Apanga Kalyan Sangathan were present in the college premises to receive the clothing’s.
It was also known that students wholeheartedly participated in donating their cloths without drifting away from the thought of a social cause.
