Kalimpong, November 11th 2014:

Yesterday the retired officer of forest department who stays in the office compound of Jholung forest range, Agham Badhur Biswakarma, 61 was arrested near Jaldhaka check post for molesting a minor of 15 years, under Jaldhaka police station, Kalimpong block 3. Whereas the accused permanently resides in Paiyung busty, block 2.
According to the information received from the source, Agham had appointed an attendant to look after his premises and to prepare food for him. But in the unavailability of him he (attendant) sent his 15 year old daughter to do some chores in the officer’s resident yesterday where the incident took place.
It was also known that Biswakarma was intoxicated in alcohol after the party he attended. However he was produced in the court today in which he was booked under section 376/511 IPC, read with Section 10 of POCSO 2012. And he is sent for 14 days custody for his guilt.
