After murder and rape on the two consecutive day of 2015 today K -Town witness a clash between members of GNLF and allegedly Gorkha Janmukti youth Morcha (GJYM) at damber chowk .The GNLF party was appealing to Shopkeepers to Shut down their shop for one hour during the funeral of Vivek Rasaily who was murdered on 1st Jan. When the group reached Damber chowk another group of youth argued about the appeal and in no certain time the clash become Physical according to eye witness present during the period. Subash Ghatani (35) and Dinesh Pradhan(50) got struck in the head during the clash who were rushed to Kalimpong Hospital and later referred to Siliguri for further treatment .As the area gripped in tension police and CRPF reached the spot in no time and stored normalcy . They attacked us with rod informed Dipankar Lama the Town president of GNLF.We were attacked during the process is this democracy questioned Lama and demanded that culprit should be arrested within 24 hour. The party lodge a Fir later in afternoon in names of 9 GJM cadre  and 10 others.The Fir mention the name of Nima Tamang, GTA Sabhasad whom party have blamed that the attack was planned in his directive.Mean While Tamang denied the charges and said that the murder should not be politicised . He said that he did not have any idea about the clash and was not present during the period. He set aside the charges.The Funeral of Vivek Rasaily was conducted today at Dr Graham Homes area.
