Seminar to uplift Scheduled caste held

In its bid to uplift the schedule casts and tribes a seminar was organized by Mani Trust in association with All India Nepali schedule cast association and attended by National confederation of Dalit organization (NACDOR) chairman Ashok Bharati was present, at worship center, 9th mile, today.
Throwing light about NACDOR Bharati said, “NACDOR would work for the benefit of all schedule casts and improve them socially, economically and academically.” Adding to that he said 60% population in India are comprised of Dalits and advancing them in all sectors is very essential.

NACDOR was established in 2001 and has reached in 24 states of India. It is also considered as
the county biggest organization to work in order to elevate the Dalits. However they have a vision to build an enlightened society and the apolitical organization also promotes peace and reconciliation with the perspective of the socially excluded dalits.

Representatives of schedule cast and tribe associations were present in the seminar. Meanwhile a declaration to form ‘Kaman Singh Ramudamu Memorial Foundation’ was passed while Ashok Bharati has accepted the chairmanship of the foundation.

It was later known that Subash Singh was appointed as a regional convener of NACDOR.
Bharati believing that the seminar can convince the people here added, “When we approach smaller areas, their (Dalits) unspoken voices can be heard easily and there are always some problems that cannot be solved locally.
