Kalimpong taekwondo Dozan shines in Bhutan championship

taekwondo Dozan have won 3 Gold and 3 bronze in the recently concluded Second
International Taekwondo Championship and First International Poomsae
(Taekwondo) Championship. A total of 180 Participant from 4 countries India, Korea,
Nepal , Bhutan participated in the tournament organised by Bhutan Taekwondo
Federation from 20th to 22nd may 2016,at Thimpu, Bhutan. Kalimpong
St.Joseph's School 's Adwayti subba won 1 gold medal in team junior
girls event while Master Trilok Subba won 1 Gold medal in 1st Master Individual
Poomsae event and 1 gold medal in senior team poomsae event . Girls School's
Anupama Subba won 1 bronze medal in pairs Poomsae. S.U.M.I Ashes Subba won 1
bronze medal in pairs Poomsae event while
jitendra Limbu of the same school won 1 bronze medal in below 60 K.G
Kyorugi event. Chandra Maya School 's Binita Jogi lost with Bhutan
in quarter final. Master Trilok Subba, the 7 Dan International player from
Kalimpong who led the player
in the tournament informed that the team played from India Green Team. we
practiced very hard in SUMI Gym hall for this Championship and the result which
we bought is satisfying. It was the first International Championship that
Kalimpong Taekwondo Dojang (KTD) represent and in future we will reach new
limit in the International Competition he added.
