Mani Trust observes 2nd foundation day

Mani Trust, a public charitable trust established on 28 May, 2014 with an aim to mitigate the plight of the living standards of people residing in the hills of Darjeeling district in terms of health, environment, education, along with social and economical aspects observed its second foundation day here.

Mani Trust, a public charitable trust established on 28 May, 2014 with an aim to mitigate the plight of the living standards of people residing in the hills of Darjeeling district in terms of health, environment, education, along with social and economical aspects observed its second foundation day here.
Sister Subeshana Thapa, director, Bal SukrakshaAbiyan,was the chief guest of the programme held at a hotel here.
Mani Trust, which has been regularly supplying home cooked food and water to homeless people of Kalimpong from 29 May 2014 under its ‘Food for Helpless’ initiative. The trust distributed English, Hindi, Nepali and Bengali news papers to three parks of Kalimpong town under Social Information Promotion initiative. It is engaged to raise donation for drown trodden patients under ‘Support or Life’ initiative.The rust in a very little time has been emerging as a rising force.
Subash M Singh, the chairman of Mani Trust today presented the annual report. The Trust is working to establish a medical tourism hub in Kalimpong and revive the glory of
Kalimpong arts and crafts, he informed.
The second foundation day programme witnessed cultural programme by artists from Darjeeling.
