Silent March against child labour

Bal Surkasha Abhiyan trust today observed World
day Against Child Labour at Tista by organising a Silent Rally “March Against
Child Labour” . About 250 student of Teesta Gram Panchayat, namely Teesta
Bridge High School, Teesta Triveni School, Mount Star Academy and Teesta Junior
Basic School, Volunteers of BSA, Child Rights Protection Committees under BSA
and community members of Teesta participated in the Rally. The rally which
started from Tista Play Ground ended at Ravi Jhora about 1 kms away in NH 10 .
A student of Tista bridge school told that we know that keeping child labour is
a crime but our society lacks the knowledge. Even they have the right to play,
to go to school and do everything what a normal child do .Tej Kumar Thapa Child
