The recent news published on landslide has made an impact . The story which narrated that thousand of people in the hills are spending sleepless night due to fear on landslide. Similarly resident of sadhudhara adjacent to Kalimpong town area was facing the same situation . About 15 houses were hanging above the landslide area washed by 30th June 15 night 227mm rainfall . These houses were posing in turn a great threat to whole sadhudhara area where about 200 family reside. Recently after the villagers problem published in different daily news paper the villagers to went to GTA chief with the paper cutting and narrated the story. Today morning GTA chief Bimal Gurung along with Irrigation Department A E Kapil Dahal reached the village and performed rituals according to Hindu Tradition . The work of emrgent landslide Protection work has started after the ritual . The announcement of starting the work bought great sigh of relief to locals  . Ganesh Khatiwara of Sadhudhara Samaj thanked the GTA Chief for the work . Gurung has strictly ordered no one to create disturbance in the work. Meanwhile AE Dahal speaking to reporter said that the landslide was posing a great danger to Sadhu Dhara which in turn posing a threat to half of market area. He said that despite the rain we will be facing a great and difficult task ahead but we want compromise in our work
