18 members of JISTO resign

GJM decision to dissolve
the JISTO movement committee has now showing its reaction. JISTO a frontal organist
ion of GJMM party was formed in 2009 has been demanding regularization of their jobs.
Today about
15 member of JISTO Kalimpong tendered the resignation form JISTO as well as
Party.

Central committee member briefing about the decision today said “With the long
history of unturned politics in Darjeeling Hills is suffering from interrupted
and disturbed educational system. Major parts of the society still survives
upon the foot of education system in Hills is going down to ruins. The need of
the hour is to find a firm solution to regularize the temporary teachers
working under different schools of GTA Area.’
He informed as there was no School
Service Commission in Darjeeling hills since 2003, the school managing
committee which is approved by DI of Schools Darjeeling GTA engaged the
teachers on temporary basis to adjust the scarcity of teachers for the benefit
of the students.These teachers have been imparting education to thousand students
for more than tow decades. They had the belief and faith on the so called
administration that they will be employed permanently but their dreams has been
shattered and is left nowhere.
To achieve our goal the temporary
teachers got to established Janmukti Insecure Teachers organization (JISTO) ,
which acted as a frontal organization of GJM from 2009. The Teachers abided by
the rules governed to them by GTA he added
Since this organization have been
supporting GJMM in the part in various activities and movements but instead of
getting to be justified GJMM central committee joint secretary Binoy Tamang
declared JISTO movement committee dissolved without any reason
As a result some
members of JISTO Kalimpong assembled in a meeting today and discussed upon the
possible process of their regularization. The house have joined their hands
together to form a Independent organization of temporary teachers to find a way
to resolve their problems as soon as possible further some of the members of
JISTO unanimously decided to resign form JISTO and GJM member informed Chhetri.

Sapkota, Bishal Pradhan, Sagar Kalden, Durga Prasad Dahal, Kamal Nirwola ,
Durgesh Nandina Pradhan, Rakesh Thapa etc are some who resigned from JITSO
Kalimpong Members.
