Darjeeling Hindi Bhasa Manch Kalimpong observe Premchand Jayanti

Munshi Premchand Jayanti was observed today at
Kalimpong by Darjeeling Hindi Bhasa Manch Kalimpong. Various dignitaries from
different educational institutions were present in the occasion observed at
School Hall of Rockvale Academy. In this context the welcome address was given
by Dr. Shova Limbu President of the Manch. A minute silent was observed in the
name of Mahasweta Devi by the all. Later
in the programme the other invitees also given their speech about the author’s
(Munshi Premchand’s) contribution in Hindi Literature.Among the guests who have
given the speech in the occasion were SDO Kalimpong Nirmalya Gharami , Dr Shova
Limbu , Ritesh Pandey and Manoj Jha.
Later in the programme a expression dance competition was also organized for
the school children where student of 8 schools was present. Sapta Shri Gyan
Pith stood first, Kendrita Vidhalaya Second and Rockvale Academy third in the
