The word fight between JAP and GJMM is on High. GJM chief who started the scene from a public meeting at Mela Ground on Sunday and on Monday JAP president gave the reply and today GJMM replied to JAP Statement given yesterday.

Kumar Chamling General Secretary of GJMM Kalimpong Sub Divisional Committee today addressing a press meet at Repoters Kalimpong Office termed Dr Harka Bahadur Chhetri ‘Agent of Bengal and Anti Gorkhaland’.

He gave some reason why the party termed him Agent of Bengal. Citing he said First JAP president always raises question when any program of GJM is held in Darjeeling hills and Duars and suggests to do program at Delhi and when GJM have announce the Delhi Program he termed it as a Tamasha.

Meanwhile giving the Second reason he said JAP president always targets the PHE Department which is under GTA and gives a clean chit to Neura which comes under State Government. He said according to 1991 agreement Neura is to give daily 8 lakhs Gallon of water per day to PHE but sometime 2 sometimes 3 lakh gallon per day is never seen or commented by JAP and its president.

Meanwhile countering on JAP statement that GJMM raises the issue of Gorkhaland in times of elections only Chamling said JAP always alleged or raise local issue only at the time of elections.

On Dr Chhetri allegation that GTA Chief is enjoying the facilities of Bengal Chamling replied GTA Chief has been given a pilot and security just because he is a Chief of the GTA . He did not beg for that.He has received the facilities according to the act of GTA , GJMM has alleged Dr Chhetri himself still has a pilot and security .

Meanwhile JAP President said yesterday to raise the issue in Parliament Chamling replied He was a MLA and we think he still does not know when a private bill is bought, how a bills comes and pass. We don’t want to bring a private bill by a single member but we want the Bill when placed to be supported by Majority of the MPs for which the exercise and program is been done by GJMM.
