Tista Police arrest 4 drugs peddlers

4 drugs
peddlers were arrested by Tista Police in NH 10. The youth were caught in two different
case after the Tista police conducted a naka checking drive at Tista Bridge yesterday
evening. At
around 4pm at tista bridge in nh10 a scooty( wB 74AF7595) while coming from
siliguri to Kalimpong side was stopped and when checked form Dipak karkidoly
(27) and rakesh thapa(43) both of chest
clinic kalimpong hat bazaar recovered 60 stripes of contraband Spasmo proxyvon
plus tablets. Where as after 2 hour in same place a pulser bike(WB 74E 8497)
was again stopped for checking where Abhishek bhutia (21) of mandir line
singtam east Sikkim) and pema tamang (24) of sai mandir rangpo Kalimpong were
arrested with cough syrup 21 bottles and
93 strip of Spasmo proxyvon tablets .
Meanwhile all four have been booked under 18c and 27 (b) of Drugs and Cosmetic
act and were produced before Kalimpong court where they have been sent to 14
days of Judicial remand.
