6 Schools reach the finals of inter Primary School quiz competition

Kalimpong, August 22:
The PR Pradhan Merit
Award cum inter Primary School quiz competition was organized today at the
Disha Sahayata Kendra. Students from10 Primary Schools who were divided into
groups of 3, participated in the competition. The top 6 Schools were namely,
Vikash Sangh Primary School (1st), Dalapchand Primary School (2nd),
SUMI Primary School (3rd), Pashupati Primary School (4th),
Tashiding Primary School (5th) and Indo Tibetan Primary School (6th).
The finals of the said competition being organized by the SUMI Alumni
Association will be held at the Ram Krishna Rang Manch on August 24, 2012.
The Principal of SUMI,
PR Pradhan along with the Principal of Pashupati Primary School, Indra Prasad
Sharma was present during the competition. Principal Sharma while addressing
the gathering expressed his gratitude towards SUMI for conducting such
competition which helps and motivates the students studying at Schools situated
at remote areas.
