The Gorkha Janmukti Vidyarthi Morcha (GJVM) has alleged the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of trying to create a disturbed situation in the hills by deploying the CRPF. The GJVM vice-president Deep Thapa today said that by calling the CRPF the situation of the hills will be like of the 1986 agitation. It may be recalled that the TMC leader of the hills, Chewang Bhutia on Friday had said that the government has decided to deploy CRPF due to lack of peace and democracy in the hills. Thapa today denouncing Bhutia’s statement said that if any insurgent situation occurs in the hills in the days to come then Bhutia and the TMC will be responsible for it.
