Kalimpong,14th NovKalimpong Police today arrested GNLF Kalimpong branch president Maurice Kalikotey from his residence this afternoon .
GNLF party has organized a program at Algarah kalimpong block 2 on the
11th of this month but no permission was taken according to police .t
Kalimpong Additional Superintendent of Police Dr.K.kannan has confirmed the arrest .
Kalikotey who was in siliguri for at least 6 year returned back to kalimpong at his residence at east main road this month only .
GNLF party who from 23 oct have recently raised its head in kalimpong sub division. a few days ago the flag of GNLF party which was hoisted at 10TH mile was found burnt at its place.

investigation kalimpong police has filed a sou motto case
in which Kalikotey has been named in the FIR.Kalimpong Additional Superintendent of Police Dr.K.kannan has confirmed the arrest .

He has been booked under section 143/186 and 506/ IPC according to Sources. All these section are bailable
He will be forwarded to kalimpong court tomorrow.
