Along with whole nation the various public banks of Kalimpong, too remain shut due to which the banking services was at halt further resulting in causing trouble to the public.  Most affected were the people from the villagers who,were unaware of the strike. However, the ATMs was seen shut today creating more trouble for the people. the strike had been called to protest against non-revision of wages as per the tenth bipartite agreement with the Indian Banks Association (IBA)
