Dagapur Veterans Club today defeated Kalimpong Veterans Club by a mrgin of 5-0 in a one sided match in the finals of the  Veteran Football Tournament which was played here at the Mela Ground, in Kalimpong today. With this win, Team of Dagapur Veterans who remained undefeated lifted Lt Pem Dorjee Memorial Cup. and kalimpong veterans was handed over the runner trophy fo Late B.B Pradhan Memorail cup . Sonali Otit Malda goalkeeper was adjudged the best goalkeeper of the tournament and Sturman Lepcha as the best player in the tournament.Pedong V.C was given the most disciplined team award.

Dr.M.S. Foning for contribution to horticulture , Sebastin Pradhan for village tourism , Yogendra Ghatani for his contribution to music and 87 years Padam bhd Chettri  were honored by the organizing committee. The day had Nordhen Lama as Chief guest accompanied by GTA Dawa Lepcha, Surendra Parekh and other as the special guests.
