Two trafficed minor girl reach kalimpong after two months,one accused held

The two minor girls and one trafficker who took the two girls from kalimpong on the last week of October has finally reach their home town today morning after Kullu police and kulu childline on 20th of this month rescued two trafficked minor girls, from Kalimpong area in Darjeeling in West Bengal, from Anni and arrested a person in this connection.
An FIR was lodged with Kalimpong police by the family members of the girls on October 23, 2013. Kullu police suspected that the accused, Meheshwar alais Mausam Thakur (23), a resident of Ghaner village in Kullu, was hiding somewhere in Anni. He was arrested on 20th .
A group of 5 including 3 minor girls left their home on Oct 23 but 1 girl and one boy was caught at siliguri by NJP plice and was handed over to kalimpong police after which the interrogation started . Mausam took the tow girls to Anni and he himself had shifted to Dharampur in Solan district two month back and was arrested when he returned to Anni.
In between A team of Kalimpong Police under O C.C.N.Sherpa and Tez Kumar Thapa of Bal Suraksha Abhiyan an NGO in kalimpong went to Himachal and completed the legal formalities in a Difficult Terrain situation about a week and finally bought all the three here today.
The girls was working as a domestic help and was living in fear of the Mausam who has been booked under 366,363,34 IPC and was forwarded in kalimpong court today where he has been sent to 14 days of Judicial Remand.
Meanwhile Both the girls was sent for a medical examination to ascertain physical assault or rape during the custody of the accused and will be taken to Darjeeling CWC tomorrow .
