Kalimpong Police has arrested one Suraj Tamang a contractor from Jorethang and resident of 7th mile Kalimpong on charge of 498 A ( husband of a woman subjecting her to mental or physical cruelty.) of IPC. According to police sources Suraj had a wife and two daughter aged 5 and 3 respectively but the extra martial affair has created a buzz in the family.From last few days the wife came to kalimpong with her children to her mother house but the husband is said to have visited once and took all the jewellery of the wife and when again he came to kalimpong and demanded the Policy and fixed deposit paper which was in the name of children then the wife complained after which he was arrested and today was produced to kalimpong Court where from he has been sent to 14 days of Judicial Remand.
