DDUDF holds all faith seminar

Today an
interactive seminar with religious heads of all faith community was held
in town hall Kalimpong, the theme of the educational meeting was
“towards health and caring community”. The motive of the program was
ascribed to the observed three heinous crimes committed to minor
children ranging from three year old just in a period of twelve days.
To bring out the effective and meaningful response to the issue (rape)
‘Darjeeling-Dooars united development foundation’ involved the religious
heads of all faith groups with the creed of bringing better result in
removing child abuse and human trafficking from the community through
the regular incorporeal teachings. The program was inaugurated by an
introductory speech by Rev. Enos Das Pradhan and pities like Bramachari
Raj Mani (Dharma Pracharak, Mangal Dham, Kalimpong) Sr. Anna Lepcha
(Provincial Head, St. Joseph Convent, Kalimpong) Moulvi Hafiz Manzoor
Rehman, (Anjuman Islamia, Thakurbari) Rev. H.D Subba, (Worship Centre,
9th Mile, Kalimpong) Sri Vivek Keshar Panday, (Satya Sai Sansthan) and
Ganesh Khatiwada (Manav Uthan Sansthan, Gumbhatta) participated in the
