After the announcement to form a separate board for Mangar by CM during her visit in Kalimpong last week the Mangar have chosen Navin Thapa as the proposed Chairman of the Mangar Development Board. Thapa who was the general secretary of the Nawa Mangar Association who spearheaded the movement of the Mangar for separate board was unanimously chosen to be the proposed Chairman in a meeting of the Central committee of the association which was held in its head office at delo Kalimpong . Hemant Thapa presided over the meeting which saw the participation of mangar unit from different areas.Navin Thapa thanked all who supported the demand. Meanwhile Tushar Thapa Mangar was chosen to look after the finance of the board. The post of general secretary of the Nawa Mangar Association which was left vacant after Navin Thapa was promotion now will see Albina Thapa Mangar. The Mangar who have been lacking behind was appealed to participate in the Board.
