Anjuman Islamia Madarsa Prathmik Shiksha Kendra celebrates on being recognized as Higher Secondary

The
1953 established Anjuman Islamia Madarsa Prathmik Shiksha Kendra today
organized a programme commemorating its recognition as a Higher Secondary by
the State Government last year. After gaining the Higher Secondary label this
former Primary School is now called Anjuman Islamia Madarsa Madhyamik Shiksha
Kendra.
The
teacher of the Scottish Universities Mission Institution (SUMI), Shubh Pradhan
presided over as the Chief Guest for the celebrations whereas RP Sharma was the
Special Guest. The Principal of Indo Tibetan School, Dhiren Chandra Wigh,
President of Kalimpong Press Club, Arun Kumar Rasaily and Ward Councilor of Ward
No I, Dawa Doma Lhamu were also present.
The
students of the School recited the Holy Quran, poems and rhymes. They also
delivered talks on Geography and History. The Welcome address was delivered by
the Secretary of the School management committee, Aman Ullah Chisti and Habib
Mullah Ahmed hosted the programme.
