GJYM’s relay hunger strike enters its 6th day

The relay hunger strike
by the Gorkha Janmukti Yuva Morcha (GJYM) at Damber Chowk today entered its 6th
day. 5 GYJM members namely, Sabir Rai (20), Yalam Subba (19), Bhaskar Sharma
(44), Samuel Lepcha (34) and Nardeep Gautam (37) from Tashiding Zone partook in
the said strike. It may again be mentioned here that the GJYM has been staging
the relay hunger strike demanding the cancellation of the Shyamal Committee
report and the Fact Verification Committee’s report to be transparent. The GJYM
a sub faction of the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM), feels that mockery has been
done towards the Gorkhas and the Adivasis through the report. Until and unless
withdrawal orders are not passed from the GJM Central Committee, the strike
