GJYM’s relay hunger strike to continue until they receive withdrawal orders from their high command

KALIMPONG, June 20:
The
5th day of the relay hunger strike i.e. today, by the Gorkha
Janmukti Yuva Morcha (GJYM) at Damber Chowk opposing the Shyamal Committee
report witnessed the participation of Robert Lepcha (24), Dinesh Sherpa (32),
Albert Lepcha (28), Suman Lepcha (29) and Tshering Sherpa (31). Addressing the
media, the Kalimpong GJYM Spokesperson, Benay Ghising said that the strike shall
continue until they receive orders from the high command of withdrawing it. He
also asserted that the Fact Verification Committee formed for the verification
of the High Power Committee’s report should work transparently and should take
