Health Check- up cum Vaccination conducted for the women and children of BPL families

A
Health Check- up cum Vaccination programme was conducted today at the
Volleyball court located at Ward No. 15. The community based programme meant
especially for the women and children coming from the Below Poverty Line (BPL)
families of Ward Nos. 13, 14, 15, 16, 18 and 23 was organized by the staffs of
the Health Department under the Municipality Ward in the leadership of Dr SD Zimba.
Dr
Zimba informed that such kind of beneficial programmes are conducted every
month at 5 different Health Centres of Kalimpong. Numerous children were
vaccinated during this programme.
