Kalimpong to celebrate two daylong Bhanu Jayanti

Kalimpong, May 31
An important meeting of the Nepali Abhiyan Samiti was held
today under the chairmanship of Samiti president MB Pradhan at Bhai Chandra
Pradhan memorial hall. The meeting paid two minutes homage to the departed soul
of hasyabangya (Standup comedian)
artist Parshat Rai aka Ambaley. The welcome address was given by president MB
Pradhan and the secretary of the Samiti informed about the two days celebration
of Bhanu Jayanti this year. The meeting also passed a resolution for changing
the course of the programme.
Informing on the two days celebration, he said that days will
have recitation of the poems, giving away the Bhai Chandra Pradhan Memorial
Award, Ramayana competition etc. The second day shall have different programmes
on literature, Purna Rai Memorial Award will also be conferred to those
contributing litteratteur in the fraternity. The two days function shall have
the presentation of the literature added secretary Sharma.
