Out Agency located permanently at Post Office in Kalimpong

The Kalimpong out agency after wandering
many seats finally got the permanent space for office at Kalimpong today.
The railway department in
collaboration with the post office Kalimpong has started its counter at the
post office in Kalimpong which now provides the people of the place the
facilities of train booking. The commercial inspector of the Jalpaiguri station
Sudeep Basu informing about the opening of the out agency said that the people
of Kalimpong have been using the out agency since long time. The out agency at
Kalimpong will add to lot to the railway. The agency also has the quota system
for the travelers of the place he added. The reservation counter at Durpin Dara
has been a lot problematic for the people he said.
After much effort and bawl the
railway has dig up a permanent office at Kalimpong. The travelers have now only
to pay for the train fare and the taxi fare from Kalimpong to NJP is exempted.
The out agency shall open simultaneously with the post office and shall remain
closed on Sunday.
