Rockvale College of Management and Technology gets affiliation from the prestigious WBUT

Rockvale Academy a premier
educational institution in Kalimpong will now be running a parallel college
along with BMC College. Giving the information Principal PM Pradhan said that
the Rockvale College of Management and Technology College will run along with
BMC. Rockvale College of Management and Technology has recently got the
affiliation from the State’s one of the prestigious University, the West Bengal
University of Technology (WBUT). The newly affiliated College which is the
first to get the affiliation from the WBUT shall have 120 seats where 60 will
be reserved for those who qualify the CEE examination and the rest 60 from the
Management. After the official announcement of the affiliation of the College
it shall have BBA and BCA courses during its opening on August he said and also
added that they have a vision to introduce BTECH courses in the near future.
The BMC College on the other hand since
its inception on 2003 had not got recognisation from any of the State
Universities and had opted for Sikkim Manipal University. The College earlier
was only running the distance courses. The Principal on the behalf expressed
his gratitude to the GJM President Bimal Gurung, MLA Harka Bahadur Chettri,
teachers and the students.
