Devotees observe 1st Monday of Sawaan with full devotion

The
town’s Shivalayas swarmed with
devotees today as this particular Monday is regarded auspicious by the Hindus [1st
Monday of the Monsoon month (Sawaan)].
The Shiv Mandir at Thakurbari and Bermiok Dhaam Mandir at Bermiok witnessed the
presence of devotees all through the day along with performance of religious
rites. The devotees offered the water of the Holy Teesta to the Shivlings.Tags: LOCAL
