Gorkha Bharati Bichar Manch holds book release function

The meeting of the Gorkha Bharati Bichar Manch was today
held under the Chairmanship of Dr Dig B Dewan.
The book ‘Bharat Ma Gorkha Ko
Rashtriya Chinhari ani Gorkha Bharati Bichar Manch Ko Awdharana’ written by
CK Shrestha was released by Pushya Das Sharma from Assam who was the chief
guest on the day. The release function had the representatives of the Siliguri,
Darjeeling, Sikkim, Assam and of other States. The book expresses the failure
of achieving the separate State Gorkhaland. The day also marked the presence of
the representatives of the different organisation and political parties of
Kalimpong. Earlier the welcome speech was given away by BR Chettri and the
programme was hosted by young litterateur Manoj Bogati.Tags: LOCAL
