The Indo Tibetan Friendly Organization, Kalimpong Branch has decided to take out a rally on October 20, 2012. This very day marks the event in history 50 years ago in 1962, when China conspiring against India attacked it went to a war.

The Secretary of the Organization, Sonam T Bhutia said that since the day coincides with the Dusshera Phool Patu- Shobha Yatra, the rally will be taken out from 10th Mile at 8 a.m. till Tharpa Choeling Monastery via Tirpai. After the rally is over, a meeting will be held which will have the MLA Harka Bahadur Chettri as the chief guest.
