The Telangana topic has raised the political mercury in the hills. As per the directions of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) Central Committee, the Gorkha Janmukti Yuva Morcha (GJYM) has chalked out their programmes in 7 phases.  Under this, the GJYM will be carrying out a mass rally on January 22 and 24, 2013.
Informing about the same, the GJYM Kalimpong Committee, Spokesperson, Binay Ghising today asked all the youths to partake in the rally. He notified that the GJM and the GJYM is not staying put regarding the separate state demand. He also denounced the comments received by the GJM and GJYM about getting heating up for Gorkhaland after the Telangana issue came under spotlight.
“The Morcha had never sidelined the Gorkhaland demand and will keep the agitation burning unless it is formed”, said Ghising.
Also a mass public meeting will be held on January 24, 2013 at Kalimpong by the GJM. Focusing the forthcoming meeting a meeting was held at the Morcha Party office today. It mainly discussed at length on how to make the public meet successful. Sabhasads, Ward Councilors, Central Committee members and the members of the GJM Sub Divisional Committee were present during the meet.
