The 4th Netaji Subash State Sports Competition 2013 (Bengal Olympics) was organized by the Bengal Olympic Association on January 27, 2013 at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra, Kolkata. Under the leadership of Susan Thapa, the members of Shito Ryu Seiko Kai partook in the event. Sujata Rai, under 50 kg Kumuti womens category, won silver. She is a student of Kalimpong Girls High School. Likewise, in the mens category Abner Biswakarma (55 kg) won bronze. He is a student of SUMI.

Susan Thapa informed that the Indian Karate team will leave for Dubai to participate in the International Karate Champion, on Tuesday.
