Kalimpong, January 29:

In one hand Chowrasta in Darjeeling was soaring with ‘We Want Gorkhaland’ slogans by the GJM supporters during a governmental programme attended by the chief minister Mamata Banerjee there, while in the other, mass postering was conducted by the Gorkha Janmukti Yuva, Naari and Vidyarthi Morcha at Kalimpong, before the CM reached the said sub division.
“Darjeeling hills is not a part of Bengal’, read a poster. ‘We protest the CM who is against Gorkhaland’, read another. ‘Gorkhaland should be formed as per the Article 3 (A) of the Indian Constitution’, demanded another poster.
However, not a single voice opposed while the CM travelled through the Main Road, Kalimpong. Instead, Mamata continuously accepting everybody’s greetings on the way left for Algarah. She will be staying over at the Health Department’s Guest House at Algarah.
Binay Ghising, Kalimpong Yuva Morcha spokesperson said that the Bengal CM needs to go through the history of the Darjeeling hills.
Likewise, Kumar Chamling, the Kalimpong sub division GJM secretary opposed the CM’s statement of Darjeeling not to be separated from Bengal.

A similar postering was also done by the Yuva Morcha in Darjeeling too.
