CM meets Lepcha representatives
Mukesh sharma
Kalimpong, Janaury 30:
The West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday night stayed over at the PHE Guest House in Algarah. Around 1p.m. today, she went to Mungpong via Lava- Gorubathan. On the way she also visited the famous Lava Monastery. Earlier, she met with a faction of the Lepcha representatives. However, the ILTA members when asked about it refrained commenting. But the sources have confirmed that the lepcha demanded implementation of LDC and the starting of lepcha language in the primary section from this session. It has also been heard that the CM is not feeling well.
