The rural sports were the main attraction of the Relly-Pala Missiontar Krishi Mela on its third day today. The finals of the sports will be played on January 16 on the same venue. The bank on the day educated the gathering on the Kishan Credit Cards and concerning the essential papers needed for the bank loans. The bank handed over loan cheques to the 70 farmers and similarly the animal husbandry department distributed animals to the beneficiaries.

The Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA) in charge animal husbandry department, Ramesh Lama was present as the chief guest on the day who was accompanied by spices board official Ramalingam, animal doctor DP Pandey as the special guests.

Addressing the gathering Lama said that the main aim of the Mela is to aware the farmers. He also stressed that one has to work hard and earn more from one’s own land. The Mela will come out successful when it gets support from all corners said Lama and praised GJM chief Bimal Gurung who has initiated the Mela for the betterment of the poor people in the Hills.
