The medical team of the Gorkha Dukh Niwarak Sammelan has been reaching villages to villages in order to help the needy who cannot come to town for medical treatments. The team recently visited the Khani village and conducted free health check-ups and distributed medicines and blankets to the poor people. The same kind of programme was today conducted at the Budyang area by the team. The GDNS president Uday Kumai said that the system has been followed since its inception and will be continued forever. They have been solving the problems of the electricity, drinking water etc. in the rural places. He also informed that the team checked up more than 70 patients under the guidance of Dr SD Zimba and three other nurses. The GDNS advisor TB Thakuri, treasurer BK Pradhan and other members were also present on the occasion.
